Credendo – Excess & Surety and VHV Allgemeine Versicherung AG issue contracts based on the digital signature procedure, in compliance with the “Digital Administration Code” (Codice dell’Amministrazione Digitale) defined in Italy’s Legislative Decree n. 159, of April 4, 2006.
The insurance policy is computer originated and signed digitally, and the hardcopy is printed by the subscriber in compliance with the provisions of Art. 23, Section 2 of Italy’s Legislative Decree n. 82 of March 7, 2005; it is then filed in its original digitalized format with a “qualifying signature” in the Company’s documents management system.
